Etz Chaim: The Englewood Shtiebel

(About Project) Etz Chaim: The Englewood Shtiebel is a warm, growing Orthodox shul serving Englewood North, Englewood Cliffs, and Tenafly -- a community built around meaningful tefillah, genuine connection, and a real sense of home. We are long-standing creative partners to the shul, handling everything from brand identity and social content to their full website.

(Challenge)

A young, vibrant shul needed a creative presence that could match the energy of the community it was building.

Most shul websites look like they were built in 2009 and haven't been touched since. Most shul social content is an afterthought. Etz Chaim deserved better -- a brand and digital presence that could genuinely represent the warmth, the learning, and the life of the place.

The challenge wasn't just design. It was capturing something intangible: the feeling of walking into a shul that actually feels like home.

(Our Approach)

We didn't just build assets for Etz Chaim -- we became the creative engine behind the whole operation.

It started with the logo: a mark that feels rooted, welcoming, and distinctly Jewish without leaning on tired visual clichés. From there we took on everything -- weekly flyers, event materials, and Shteibel Shorts, an ongoing series of short-form video reels that bring the community to life on social media.

The website is the crown jewel. Live zmanim, a full events calendar, sponsorship flows, membership, and a donation system -- all wrapped in a design that is warm, modern, and unlike anything else in the Orthodox shul space. Built to serve the community seven days a week, not just look good in a screenshot.
