(About Project) Manhattan Valley Pediatrics is a personalized pediatric practice in upper Manhattan, built by founders who wanted to create something different: a doctor's office that felt like a natural part of the neighborhood.
Logo + Visual Identity
Most medical branding looks like medical branding -- and MVP wanted nothing to do with that.
The founders had a clear vision: warm, colorful, community-rooted, and distinctly retro. Nothing clinical, nothing corporate, nothing with sharp edges.
The brand needed to communicate that this wasn't just a practice -- it was a neighbor.
We started with the logo and let the community story build outward from there.
The mark -- a continuous color loop through the MVP letterforms, with a child peeking through -- symbolizes growth and connection, and the warm palette of yellow, orange, and pink makes it impossible to mistake for anything other than joyful.
From there we created a custom illustrated cityscape for the website: a vibrant, full-color neighborhood scene that places the practice right inside the community it serves -- not as a storefront, but as an apartment building, always open, always welcoming.
