| The picture is so bloody awful it can't do very much to further her new career. It’s only hinted at the end that there was way more to her than meets the eye, but alas, that’s all we got. If you enjoy seeing once respected actresses past their "prime" in sleazy roles, then seek out this sickie with Gloria Grahame (co-star of IT'S A WONDERFUL LIFE, an Oscar winner for THE BAD AND THE BEAUTIFUL and highly impressive in several notable film noirs) as the abusive Mrs. Deere.
